Mitchell R. Owen, CLU®, CFP® Biography

 As he traveled across the country interviewing Financial Service Professionals and developing training programs for them, it occurred to Mitchell Owen CLU®, CFP®, that he too could take his unique talents and help individuals create smart money strategies.

 By listening to what is important to his clients, Mitchell synthesizes their desires, goals and dreams to create a financial plan that helps to protect and strives to increase wealth. This type of planning may allow clients to have more spendable income not only during their working years but in their retirement.

Mitchell joined New York Life Insurance Company in 1999 and has never looked back. He is amongst the top agents in the Constitution office in Philadelphia. He has been honored for his accomplishments many times, including: "New Agent of the Year"(2001), Associate Agent of the Year(2004), Ten (11) New York Life Executive Council Memberships (2000-2009, 2011), one President's Council membership (2010) and Election to the company's "Agents Advisory Council" (2004), where he helped advise top management about issues concerning agents and their clients.

Since 2002 he has joined the top 6% of those in his field eight (8) times by qualifying for membership in The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the Premier Association of Financial Professionals ®. Mitchell earned the Certified Life Underwriter (CLU®) Designation from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania in 2002. He earned his Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation in 2004. Mitchell earned his Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University in 1982.

In 2003, based on Mitchell's education and outstanding service, he joined Eagle Strategies LLC, a Registered Investment Adviser, a wholly owned subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Company. This affiliation allows Mitchell to provide sophisticated planning solutions for his clients.

Mitchell is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisers, (NAIFA), The Flourtown Business Association (FBA) and Business Networkers International (BNI) Chalfont Chapter.

Married to Cathy with two children, Benjamin and Emilia. Mitchell lives in Erdenheim, PA and looks forward to helping many family oriented, creative individuals grow their wealth and protect their assets.
